2010 was a tough year for me. In fact, the past 12 months have been pretty shit for a lot of reasons. Some of those things are still going on and affecting my life, and I’m dealing with them as best I can.
When I was a kid, if I fell off my bike my mum would make me pick it up and get right back on. That’s kind of where I am at right now. So I’m trying not to dwell on the bad, the rotten or the woeful and have decided to record all the truly wonderful and beautiful things, people, places and happenings that are going on in and around my life.
I live in a beautiful place and am lucky in a lot of ways, so I’m determined to embrace all that is good with life. In the words of Henry David Thoreau ‘You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.’ And so I shall.
