What’s your favourite way to warm up on a chilly July day? No, not that! Bust a move, of course. As the sound of music was heard on the streets of Bondi last Sunday, with bands, artists and violin playing school kids busking for Bondi Winter Magic, it was the perfect excuse to make like Davie Bowie and Mick Jagger and get dancing in the street! (OK, a bit of head nodding and foot tapping perhaps!)
Over 100 artists played at spots on Campbell Parade, Curlewis Street, Gould Street and Hall Street (plus some full-on drumming right by the beach) for four harmonious hours.
All buskers donated a percentage of their earnings to Wairoa School in Bondi Beach.
Did you make it to the festival? What were your highlights?
Keep cosy!

PS: And just remember. It doesn’t matter what you wear, just as long as you are there… Here’s Bowie and Jagger showing us how it’s done, 80s style…
